Poaching List

In order to poach monsters, you must equip the thief's ability "Secret Hunt".
The character that has that ability equipped must be the one to kill the monster
in order to get the fur shop 'prize'.

In the table below, 'common' means that you get the prize most often. And 'rare'
means that you only get the prize about one in eight times. 'Commonly found' is
where you're most likely to meet the enemy, and location names in parenthesis mean
you can find that particular monster in the parenthesized location the most often.

-To get a Wildbow, simply invite a Uribo or a Porky and let them breed. Eventually you should get a Wildbow, and this is the only possible means to get a Wildbow.

Floor 3 - DELTA
Floor 4 - VALKYRIES
Floor 5 - MLAPAN (Napalm Spelled Backwards)
Floor 6 - TIGER

Rare Item Info:
Barette - Red Chocobo:
Its HP bonus is low, but it stops a lot of status ailments, which can prove to be very valuable.

Cachusha - Porky:
The Barette is better, as it stops more dangerous status changes, but the Cachusha isn't bad. It just doesn't stop as many bad status ailments.

Ribbon - Wildbow:
Its HP bonus is low, but it stops ALL of the bad status ailments, which can prove to be very valuable

Holy Lance - Sacred:
It has high Attack Power, has Holy elemental properties, and randomly casts Holy on the target after physically attacking it.. GET IT!

Scorpion Tail - Hyudra:
High attack power for a mace, but somewhat low hit rate.

Madlemgen - Great Morbol:
Pretty good for a dictionary.

Whale Whisker - Tiamat:
Its just a stick.

Dragon Whisker - Red Dragon:
Its a good Spear, but the Ultimate Javelin is of course the best Spear

Rubber Costume - Hydra:
Has a HP bonus of 150, nullifies lightning elemental attacks.

FS Bag - Wildbow:
Pretty good bag.

Stone Gun - Dark Behemoth:
The gun petrifies the one who has it equipped at the start of the battle. Have an accessory that nullifies petrify equipped, or bring in someone with the "Item" skill and have a few 'soft's in your inventory. It is a very powerful gun.

Nagrarock - Porky:
Attack power of one, and has the ability to turn monsters into frogs. Useful if you want to steal from a monster, or are looking for a fun way to level up your party.

Zorlin Shape - Plague:
Slightly stronger than an Air Knife, and it can put enemies to sleep.

Chantage - Porky:
Only females can equip this accessory, and its attributes are permanent 'regen' and 'reraise'. Can you spell immortality?

Salty Rage - Red Dragon:
An accessory with permanent attributes of 'protect' and 'shell'.

Setiemson - Hydra:
An accessory with permanent attributes of 'transparent' and 'haste'.

Cherche - King Behemoth:
An accessory with permanent attributes of 'float' and 'reflect'.

Note: It is not possible to poach the Holy Dragon (Reis).

Poaching Tips:
If you are having a hard time poaching to get a rare item, try this:
-Invite the monster in to your team. Win the Battle. Accept the monster into your team.
    -Save the game.
-Go into a battle near a fur shop that isn't storyline driven (not a red dot).
-Poach the monster of course, even though its on your team.
-Don't save after the battle is over.
-Go into the nearest fur shop and check to see if you successfully poached the monster into a rare item.
-If so, duh, save the game.
-If not, and it was a common item, reset the game and load it back up right before you went into battle to poach the monster.
-The determinant of whether or not the monster will be poached into a rare or common item does not occur until the monster is poached. In other words: It isn't one in ten monsters that can be poached into a rare item, its one in ten tries on any monster.

Another way to poach a moster easily, kill it normally. Then revive it with a Phoenix Down, then have a person with Secret Hunt slaughter it. This can be useful to avoid some long monster chases as long as it isn't the last enemy alive.
