This Guide uses the first method I found for gaining massive
amounts of tokens in one win. It goes through my steps at gaining
tokens from what you're given by Cash and Carrie, so purchasing of
tokens isn't neccessary.
*important* My method deals with Baccarat's Casino, but I have tips for
Pickham's casino if you aren't at this point in the game.

Unfortunately, you'll be resetting the game often. This can
not be avoided because the casino only contains games of chance.
On a lighter note, once you accumulate a nice sum of tokens, you
will not have to reset as often.
As one of the NPC's mentions, Roulette is where it's at. Take
your 600 tokens and head on over to the Roulette table.

1.20 Basics of Roulette

1.21 The Game
-----------------
Roulette is a game that uses a ball which is spun around the
Roulette wheel which has many divets marked with individual
numbers. DQVIII uses the numbers 0-27.
You can place a bet of up to 500 tokens on each spot.
There are many kinds of bets that can be made on the Roulette
table. Once you are done placing your bets, the ball is spun
around the Roulette wheel

1.22 Types of Bets
----------------------
Reference the Table Layout in Section 1.30 if you need
clarification of bets that I mention. Basically, The fewer
numbers your bet covers, the higher the payout. I'll list each
bet type and it's payout.
a.) Single Number Bets: Betting on just one number
The hardest to win, but has the highest payout. A Single
Number Bet is made by placing chips directly on the number.
Payout Ratio, 28:1.
b.) Double Number Bets: Betting on two adjoined numbers
These are bets like 1-4 or 1-2. A Double Number Bet is made
by placing chips in between the 2 numbers you are betting on.
Payout Ratio, 14:1.
c.) Quadruple Number Bets: Betting on a 2x2 square of numbers.
These are bets like 1-2-4-5. A Quadruple Number Bet is made
by placing chips in the corner that all four numbers have in
common. Note: Placing this bet on the left side of the board
changes the bet into a Triple Number Bet that has a higher
ratio and is comprised of 0 with either 1&2 or 2&3.
Payout Ratio, 7:1
d.) Column Bets: Betting on 1x3 rows.
These are bets like 1-2-3. A Column Bet is made by placing
chips on the line below the lowest number in a column.
Payout Ratio, 8:1
e.) Two Column Bets: Betting on 2 adjoined 1x3 Rows.
These are bets like 1-2-3/4-5-6. A Two Column Bet is made
by placing chips on the same line for Column Bets, in between
the two columns you are betting on. Note: Placing this bet on
the columns 0/1-2-3 gives a higher ratio.
Payout Ratio, 5:1
f.) Row Bets: Betting on 1x9 rows.
These bets are made on the right side of the table in the
box with the arrow. A bet like this could be the the row of
1-4-7-10-13-16-19-22-25.
Payout Ratio, 3:1
g.) Nonuple(nine) Number Bets: Betting on a 3x3 square of numbers.
These bets are made with the arrows on the bottom of the
table. These are bets like 1 through 9, 10 through 18, or
19 through 27.

h.) Even or Odd Bets: Betting on all Even or Odd numbers.
These bets are made with the bottom-most boxes on the far
left or right. Evens and Odds do not cover 0.

i.) Red or Blue Bets: Betting on all Red or Blue numbers.
These bets are made with the middle boxes in the bottom row
of the Roulette table. Reds and Blues do not cover 0.

1.41 The First Bet
----------------------
The first bets you're going to make are a Row Bet and Nonuple
bet(nine squares), See Section 1.22 (f & g) for explanations. You can
make those bets on any of the choices for those kinds of bets
because it's technically the same chance with any combination of
winning.
You will bet half on each of those bets(300 tokens each). How
much you win depends on which spot wins. If the number is contained
in both bets, then you'll win 1,800 tokens, if it is just one of the
bets, you'll now have 900 tokens. Which bet you make now depends on
how much you won.
(This bet could be Nonuple 1 through 9 & Row 3-6-9-12-18-21-24-27)
If you don't win on this first bet, reset and do it again until
you do win.

1.42 The Next Bets

900 Tokens-
You basically do the same bet as the first
one, but the amounts are different. You can split the tokens in half
for each bet again, or you can max one with 500. Once you win this,
you should have enough for 1,800 bets.
1,800 Tokens-
You keep the two bets from the first bet,
but you add one of the Evens/Odds, or Reds/Blues. Max all three with
500 token bets. Repeat until you have at least 4,500 tokens.

This uses different bets. You take all the
numbers in one of the three groups of Nonuple bets, but do 9 "Single
Number Bets" with them. You can max each one with 500 tokens.
5,000 Tokens-
This uses the same bets as 4,500, but you
add the "Nonuple Bet" on the group of 9 numbers you're betting on.
6,000 Tokens-
This uses the same bets accumulated
through the 5,000 Token Bets, but you add 2 "Two Column Bets" inside
the Nonuple set you've been betting in.

1.45 The Highest Bets

15,500 Tokens-
This uses all the bets made so far, and
adds the 6 horizontal "Double Number Bets" & 6 vertical "Double
Number Bets" of the Nonuple set. The payout for this bet can be
50,000 tokens!
*Optional* 16,000/16,500 Tokens- *Optional*
This uses all the bets made so far, and
adds Even/Odd and/or Red/Blue bets. This is optional because it
doesn't really help earn much, if any, more because of the 50/50
chance of them helping.
21,500 Tokens-
You probably won't be making any higher
bets. My explanation of why it isn't as useful will be at the bottom.
It is possible to make higher bets though. So you will be adding all
bets that cover even one of the numbers in the third of the board.
Bets added:
Double Number Bets: 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, 7-10, 8-11, 9-12
Quadruple Number Bets: 0-1-2, 0-2-3, 7-8-10-11, 8-9-11-12
Two Column Bets: 0/1-2-3, 7-8-9/10-11-12
The only reason you would use this bet is
if you save after every win. Using the 21,500 Token Bet you can win,
on average, 4,000 tokens more with a win. But if you continually bet
whether you win or lose, then you will be losing 6,000 tokens more
with every loss, and you will probably be losing more spins than
winning.

2.21 Starting with Single Bets (R/SM 100)

This method uses the 600 Token reward. Place 6 Single Number
bets. Once you get a winner, you'll have 2,800 tokens. Save, then use
the 100 Token Slot Machine. Max Bet each spin. If you run out of
tokens, just reset. Once you have gained 10,000 or more, save again.
You'll be able to leave it with a turbo controller after that.

2.22 Starting with Low Slots (SM 10/SM 100)

This method uses the 600 Token reward. Head to the 10-Token Slot
Machine blocked by a man. Talk to him and pay him to move. The payout
for this machine seems to be higher than normal. Max Bet each spin.
Once you have gained 10,000 or more, save again. Then head over to
the 100-Token Slot Machine. Max Bet each spin here as well.

2.23 Guaranteed No Reset Roulette (R)

This method starts after you've earned or bought 2,500 Tokens.
You will be Max Betting 5 "Two Column" Bets. The Bets will be of the
columns "0/1,2,3" & "4,5,6/7,8,9" & "10,11,12/13,14,15" & "16,17,18/
19,20,21" & "22,23,24/25,26,27" Refer to Section 1.22e for help in
placing "Two Column" Bets. (Comments: You can use this method to
gain enough Tokens to play the Slot Machines, or make bigger bets.)

2.24 A Different Way To Get To The Top (R)
----------------------------------------------
This method starts after you've obtained at least 2,500 tokens.
You first place "Two-Column Bets" that will cover two consecutive
Nonuple sets. This could be placing the "Two-Column Bets" 1-2-3/4-5-6
7-8-9/10-11-12 & 13-14-15/16-17-18. Together, those three bets will
cover two sets of nonuples. And to help the payout, you place the two
"Nonuple Number Bets" that cover the same numbers. This bet has some
good odds, so you should win pretty often, but the payout won't be as
great. You will roughly double your bet, so you can use this to get
to the Higher Bets.

3.10 Starting Casino

This casino does not have the same ease of winning because of
the limited gaming choices. It is still technically possible to win
tokens here though. It's a pretty simple process, but can take a lot
of your time. Buy a few coins, maybe 100. Save your game, and come
back to the casino. I would recommend betting low enough so that you
can get 5 to 10 games out of them so you aren't resetting right away.

2.21 From Slots to Bingo

It is suggested you buy enough tokens to play enough so you
don't have to reset too frequently, possibly 150. As suggested in
the Tips & Hints section, use the left-hand slot machine. Once you
have accumulated 250 tokens, you can proceed to the bingo table.
Don't forget to save. You can make five 50-token bets which has a
decent chance of gaining tokens without reseting. Once you have 500,
you can save again and start betting 100 on each bet. Then you just
stay on large bets at the bingo table to accrue your fortune of
tokens early on in the game.

4.00 Tips & Hints

* As has been mentioned, saving often when token increases have
been made is a very good idea.
* The left-hand slot machine in the back of Pickham's Casino has
the best odds of payouts.
* -Unconfirmed- It has been mentioned that getting a Puff-Puff
from Le Club Puff-Puff can help your odds.
* Save up enough tokens to buy a mass amount of Magic Waters, and
sell them to a store for gold. They have a low sell price, but
it's tied for best sell ratio per token with the Prayer Rings.
*update* It seems selling Prayer Rings in mass amounts doesn't
lower their selling price. Again, if this needs correcting, I
would very much appreciate an e-mail.
* Having a controller with turbo can let you stay on a slot
with a heavy object holding the up button, and you will keep max
betting over and over. You can leave the game for school,
dinner, or sleeping.
* Hold down Circle when placing the largest bets on the Roulette
table. When you push the directional buttons, it'll continue
maxing bets at each spot it comes to so you can get through
placing the bets a little faster.
* Take note of any numbers that you see come up a lot on Roulette.
I placed seperate Single Number Bets while I was playing on 12,
16, 21, & 25 because they seemed to show up an unusual number of
times for me. Quite often when I lost a spin I hit one of
those numbers and only ended up losing a couple thousand tokens.
If you do find your own numbers that show up often, then this
can help make more tokens, and cut down on the number of times
you have to reset.
