1. The game starts in Narshe. Walk north to the top of town to enter the mine.

2. Narshe Mine: Walk north through the mine and defeat Whelk. Continue north to 
   the frozen esper at the top of the mine.

3. Terra will wake up in a house in Narshe. Talk to the old man. Go through the 
   door at the top-right corner to exit the house.

4. Walk west into the cave and walk north to the top-right corner. Terra will 
   fall down to another cave below.

5. Narshe Mine: As Locke, battle the enemies in the cave. Walk south to the 
   bottom of the cave and battle the marshal.

6. Exit Narshe and travel south to the desert. Enter Figaro castle.

7. Walk north to the throne room and talk to Edgar the king. Talk to the matron 
   in the left side of the castle. Return to the throne room and talk to Edgar.

8. As Edgar, walk south and talk to both guards and then Kefka. Walk north and 
   talk to Locke.

9. As Terra, follow Locke to the right side of the castle and talk to him.

10. As Edgar, walk north and talk to the guard to exit the castle.

11. Defeat the M-TekArmor to return to the world map. Walk south to the gap in 
    the rocks and jump off the Chocobo. Enter the cave.

12. Talk to the soldier outside the area and he will leave. Enter the cave.

13. Figaro Cave area 1: Walk north to the recovery spring. Go through the door.

14. Figaro Cave area 2: Walk south and go east at the junction. Follow the path 
    to the bottom-right corner and go up the nearest steps.

15. Figaro Cave area 3: Walk west and go down the steps.

16. Figaro Cave area 4: Walk south and go through the door to exit the cave.

17. Travel south-east to enter the town of South Figaro. Buy optimal equipment 
    from the shops and equip. Exit the town.

18. Travel north-east from South Figaro to enter Mt. Kolts.

19. Mt. Kolts: Follow the path up to the top of the mountain. Talk to Vargas 
    and battle him. As Sabin, use a Blitz attack against him. Exit Mt. Kolts.

20. Travel north up the green path on the world map and enter the hideout.

21. Returners' Hideout: Talk to the guard and go through the door. Talk to 
    Banon. Exit the room and talk to Edgar, Locke and Sabin. Talk to the guard 
    at the bottom-left corner and he will move. Exit the hideout.

22. Talk to Banon and select either answer. As Edgar, walk south to exit the 
    hideout and board the raft.

23. Select straight at the first junction and left at the second junction. 
    Defeat Ultros to have three scenario choices. Select Locke's Scanario.


LOCKE'S SCENARIO (a)

24.a. Walk up the steps and enter the item shop. Talk to the merchant and steal 
      his clothing. Exit the shop.

25.a. Enter the house at the bottom of the first set of steps. Go down the 
      steps and talk to the boy. Go through the door to return to the town.

26.a. Walk north to the path at the top of the town and follow it west. Battle 
      the officer in the green uniform and steal his clothes.

27.a. Walk to the middle of town and talk to the guard near the chocobo stable. 
      Go south-east and enter the cafe.

28.a. Walk down the steps at the bottom-right corner of the cafe and talk to 
      the merchant in the room. Steal his clothes. Exit the cafe.

29.a. Go to the armor shop at the top-right corner of town. Walk south from the 
      armor shop to enter the house near the bottom-right corner of town.

30.a. Talk to the boy. Walk up the steps. Talk to the man. Walk down the steps 
      and talk to the boy. Say "Courage". Go through the secret entrance.

31.a. Walk down the steps to enter the rich man's house. Go up the steps to 
      exit the house and walk in through the front door.

32.a. Walk up the steps and enter the left room. Walk behind the shelf at the 
      top-left corner and continue down the steps to the basement.

33.a. Walk east and enter the left room. Talk to Celes and remove her chains. 
      Search the guard and take the clock key. Exit the room.

34.a. Enter the right room and wind the top-right clock. Go through the door.

35.a. Follow the path and go up the steps near the bottom-right corner of the 
      area. Go through the door and walk east to return to the world map.

36.a. Travel north-west from South Figaro and enter the cave

37.a. Figaro Cave: Follow the path to the room with the recovery spring. Walk 
      south and defeat TunnelArmr to complete the scenario.


BANON, EDGAR AND TERRA'S SCENARIO (b)

38.b. Battle the enemies on the raft to return to the world map.

39.b. Travel west to pass the lake and go south-west to return to Narshe.

40.b. Walk west and look at the rock wall. Go north to enter the mine.

41.b. Narshe Mine: Go through the mine to the security checkpoint room. Follow 
      the path of the light. Exit the room and go south to exit the cave.

42.b. Cross over the bridge and continue east to the rock wall. Go south and 
      enter Arvis' house to complete the scenario.


SABIN'S SCENARIO (c)

43.c. Travel east to the house and talk to Shadow by the well. Select yes and 
      he will join Sabin. Return to the world map.

44.c. Travel south-east to the forest and go south to the imperial camp.

45.c. Walk into the camp to see Kefka and the soldiers.

46.c. As Cyan, walk south and defeat the leader.

47.c. As Sabin, walk south across the bridge and battle Kefka. Follow him and 
      battle him twice, and he will poison the river.

48.c. As Cyan, walk toward the throne room to talk to the king. Exit the throne 
      room and go through the right door. Cyan will enter the imperial camp.

49.c. As Sabin, talk to Cyan and defeat the three sets of soldiers. Walk east 
      to the right side of the camp and go north to exit the camp.

50.c. Travel west across the bridge and walk south. Cross east over the next 
      bridge and travel south-east to the phantom forest.

51.c. Follow the path through the forest and board the train.

52.c. Attempt to exit the train. Walk west through three carriages. Attempt to 
      exit the third carriage and defeat the ghost.

53.c. Climb up the ladder and go west to jump to the next carriage. Enter the 
      carriage and pull the switch to seperate the carriages.

54.c. Walk back into the carriage and pull the switch again. Walk west to the 
      engineer's room and pull the left and right switches.

55.c. Exit the engineer's room and walk west to the front of the train. Press 
      the switch and defeat the GhostTrain to return to the world map.

56.c. Travel south to the trees and walk north-east to arrive at a cave.

57.c. Enter the cave and continue north to Baren Falls. Walk north and Shadow 
      will leave the party. Walk north again and jump into the falls.

58.c. Sabin and Cyan will wake up at the bottom of the falls. Walk south or 
      east to return to the world map.

59.c. Travel south-east to the mountain and north-east to the town of Mobliz.

60.c. Enter the item shop at the top-right corner of town and buy dried meat. 
      Exit the town.

61.c. Battle on the world map until Gau appears. Give him the dried meat and he 
      will join the party. Travel south and enter the cave.

62.c. Crescent Mountain: Go through to the end of the cave to dive underwater.

63.c. Swim down to the end of the river to arrive at the town of Nikeah. Talk 
      to the captain of the ship and hop aboard to complete the scenario.


64. With the three scenarios complete, the party will return to Narshe.

65. Talk to Banon and select yes to form three groups. Defeat the enemies and 
    walk south to Kefka. Defeat the rider and Kefka.

66. The party return to a house in Narshe. Form a group of characters and exit 
    the town to return to the world map.

67. Travel south to the desert and south-west to Figaro castle.

68. Enter the castle and walk west to the basement. Talk to the man and select 
    Kohlingen. Exit the castle.

69. Travel south to Jidoor at the bottom of the continent. Travel north-east 
    from Jidoor and enter the town of Zozo.

70. Enter the relic shop at the bottom-left corner of town and climb up to the 
    top floor. Defeat Dadaluma.

71. Enter the room on the top floor and walk toward Terra to meet Ramuh.

72. Get the Magicite and talk to a character at the bottom of the room. Form a 
    party and exit the town.

73. Travel south from Zozo to return to the town of Jidoor.

74. Walk north and enter Owzer's house at the top of town. Talk to Impresario. 
    Get the letter. Exit the town.

75. Travel south from Jidoor and walk to the opera house.

76. Talk to Impresario and enter the opera house. Watch the play. Go south-east 
    and then east up the steps. Go through the door and talk to Celes.

77. As Celes, walk north through the door and go west to the stage. Sing the 
    correct lines and Draco will appear.

78. Follow Draco's movements. Get the flowers and walk to the top of the tower 
    to complete the play.

79. As Locke, walk south and get the letter. Walk south to exit the room and 
    walk through the top-left door.

80. Talk to Impresario and a countdown will start. Go through the top-right 
    door and talk to the stage master. Press the right switch.

81. Walk south to the balcony and go through the top-left door. Go through the 
    door at the top of the steps.

82. Walk along the rafters above the stage and talk to Ultros at the top-left 
    corner. Defeat Ultros. Talk to Setzer to board his airship.

83. Travel north-west from the airship and enter Vector.

84. Walk north-east and talk to the man standing behind the crate. Jump on the 
    crate to climb onto the tower. Continue north to enter the factory.

85. Magitek Factory area 1: Walk down three sets of steps and enter the left 
    pipe. Go across the conveyer belt and go south to the next conveyer belt.

86. Magitek Factory area 2: Go east across the conveyer belt to see Kefka. Walk 
    south and go down the next conveyer belt.

87. Magitek Factory area 3: Walk west and talk to Ifrit. Defeat Ifrit and 
    Shiva. Talk to Shiva and get both Magicites. Go through the right door.

88. Magitek Factory area 4: Go up the steps and walk south.

89. Magitek Res. Facility: Walk west and go through the top-left door. Defeat 
    Number 024 and go through the door.

90. Magitek Factory Magicite Room: Press the switch at the top of the room to 
    talk to Cid. Walk onto the platform.

91. Talk to Cid to ride the mine cart. Defeat Number 128 at the end of the mine 
    cart ride to return to Vector.

92. Walk south to talk to Setzer. The party will board his airship.

93. Defeat the crane to return to Zozo. The scene switches to the Esper world.

94. As Maduin, exit the house and walk north to talk to the man. Select "Return 
    together". Talk to Madonna. Walk north to exit the town. Talk to Madonna.

95. Two years later in the Esper world, talk to the elder. Open the door. Exit 
    the town and talk to Madonna to complete the scene.

96. The party will board the airship. Fly north-east and return to Narshe.

97. Walk north to talk to Banon. Exit the town.

98. Board the airship and fly south-east to the imperial base.

99. With Terra in the party, walk east through the imperial base.

100. Continue east on the world map to enter the cave to the sealed gate.

101. Cave to the Sealed Gate: Walk through the cave and battle Kefka. Walk back 
     through the cave and the imperial base to board the airship.

102. The Espers attack the airship and it crashes. Exit the airship.

103. Travel north-west through the forest and north-east to Vector.

104. Walk north to the imperial palace.

105. Walk north to the top of the palace and talk to Gestahl. Talk to as many 
     soldiers in four minutes as possible.

106. In the dining hall, answer Gestahl's questions. Walk south to exit the 
     imperial and continue south to exit Vector.

107. Travel south-east from Vector to enter the town of Albrook.

108. Walk down the path at the bottom-right corner of town and talk to Leo on 
     the ship. Sleep at the inn and return to the ship. Talk to Leo.

109. As Terra, talk to Leo. The next day, talk to Leo and Locke. The ship will 
     arrive at Crescent Island.

110. Travel north-east to the town of Thamasa.

111. Enter the top house and talk to Strago. Enter the inn and sleep. Talk to 
     Strago outside the top-right house. The party will enter the house.

112. Walk through the house and enter the right door, left door and left door. 
     Go up the steps and defeat FlameEater. Exit the town.

113. Travel south-west to the forest and north to the cave.

114. Esper Cave: Go through the top-right exit and follow the path to the 
     statues. Battle Ultros and sketch him when Relm appears.

115. Esper Cave: Continue through the cave and walk on the bottom-left tile. 
     Follow the path to talk to the espers.

116. The party will return to Thamasa to talk to Leo. As Leo, talk to Kefka and 
     battle him. The party will return to the world map.

117. Board the airship and "Find the Floating Continent". Form a party. Defeat 
     Ultros and Chupon. Defeat Air Force to land on the floating continent.

118. Floating Continent: Talk to Shadow and continue through the area to the 
     airship. Select no, and then walk west and up the path to meet AtmaWeapon.

119. Floating Continent: Defeat AtmaWeapon and walk north to see Kefka. Walk 
     back to the save point and defeat Nerapa.

120. Floating Continent: Walk east and either jump into the airship, or wait 
     for the countdown to reach five seconds and Shadow will appear.

121. Celes wakes up on an island. Walk south to the beach and collect the fast 
     fish. Return to the house and give the fish to Cid.

122. Cid will eventually either die or be healed. If he dies, talk to the bird 
     and return to Cid's house.

123. Walk down the steps at the left side of the stove and get the raft to sail 
     over to the next continent.

124. Travel north-west and enter the town of Tzen.

125. Enter the house at the top of town. Walk down to the basement and talk to 
     the boy. Exit the house. Sabin will join the party. Exit the town.

126. Travel south-east past the lake and north-east to cross over the bridge to 
     the next continent. Travel north to the town of Nikeah.

127. Enter the cafe at the bottom-right corner of town. Talk to all of the gang 
     members and they will leave. Exit the cafe.

128. Walk north-east and talk to Gerad. Follow him south and talk to him twice. 
     Go south and Celes will board the ship to South Figaro.

129. Walk north to the town and enter the inn. Walk up the steps and enter the 
     right room to talk to Gerad. Exit the town.

130. Travel west from South Figaro and enter the cave.

131. Figaro Cave: Talk to Sigfried. Use the turtle to pass the recovery spring 
     and continue following the path to the castle basement.

132. Figaro Castle: Exit the room and walk down the steps to basement 3. Go 
     south and enter the middle door. Continue north to the engine room.

133. Figaro Castle Engine Room: Talk to Gerad and defeat the four tentacles. 
     Edgar will join the party. Walk south to exit the engine room.

134. Figaro Castle: Walk up the steps to basement 1 and talk to the man to 
     travel to Kohlingen. Exit the castle.

135. Travel north-west from the castle to enetr the town of Kohlingen.

136. Enter the inn and talk to Setzer. He will join the party. Exit the town.

137. Travel south-west from Kohlingen to enter Darill's Tomb.

138. Darill's Tomb B1: Walk south and go down the steps.

139. Darill's Tomb B2: Go through the bottom-left door. Go down the steps.

140. Darill's Tomb B3: Go through the door and press the switch. Walk through 
     the door and go up the steps.

141. Darill's Tomb B2: Go through the top-right door. Press the tombstone and 
     go through the exit. Press the switch and return to the main room.

142. Darill's Tomb B2: Go through the bottom door and use the turtle to cross 
     the water. Press the switch and use the turtle. Go through the door.

143. Darill's Tomb B2: Go north and look at the purple statue. Defeat Dullahan 
     and go through the north exit. Go down the steps to board the airship.

144. Playable characters are scattered throughout the world. Finding them is 
     helpful, but not essential for completing the game.


FINDING CYAN (a)

145.a. Land the airship and enter the town of Maranda.

146.a. Enter the top-right house and talk to Lola. Read the letter. Select yes. 
       Exit the house and look at the pigeon. It flies to Zozo. Exit the town.

147.a. Board the airship and fly north-west to the town of Zozo.

148.a. Talk to the man in front of the inn at the top-left corner of town and 
       buy the rust-rid. Walk south and enter the cafe.

149.a. Walk north through the cafe and go outside. Enter the top-left door.

150.a. Mt Zozo: Follow the path through the three caves to meet Cyan. Walk back 
       through the caves and exit Zozo to return to the world map.


FINDING GAU (b)

151.b. Board the airship and go inside. Talk to Cyan and select three party 
       members. Fly east and land on the top-right continent.

152.b. Battle enemies until Gau appears. He will join the party.


FINDING GOGO (c)

153.c. Board the airship and fly north-east to the top-right island.

154.c. Battle Zone Eater to enter the cave.

155.c. Island Cave: Jump over the bridges without falling and continue through 
       the cave to meet Gogo, who will join the party. Exit the cave.


FINDING LOCKE (d)

156.d. Board the airship and fly to the north end of the bottom continent.

157.d. Land the airship in the grass area in the middle of the mountain. Form 
       two groups to land at the entrance to the Phoenix Cave.

158.d. Switch between groups on the way through the cave. Eventually, one group 
       will find Locke. The party will travel to Kohlingen.

159.d. Locke will join the party. Exit Kohlingen.


FINDING MOG (e)

160.e. Board the airship and fly east to Narshe.

161.e. Enter the top-right house and go through the top-right door. Walk west 
       across the bridge and enter the mine.

162.e. Narshe Mine: Walk to the top of the first area and take the first exit 
       south. Go north and talk to Mog, who will join the party. Exit Narshe.


FINDING RELM (f)

163.f. Board the airship and fly south-west to Jidoor.

164.f. Walk north to the top of town and enter Owzer's house.

165.f. Turn on the lights and go up the steps. Check the bottom-left painting 
       and defeat the Dahlings. Go through the door.

166.f. In the basement of Owzer's house, enter the right door, left door, left 
       door to enter the room with the three floating chests.

167.f. Look at the middle painting and defeat Still-Life. Go through the door. 
       Go through the top door and continue north to enter the room with Relm.

168.f. Talk to Owzer and defeat Chadarnook. Get the magicite from the bookshelf 
       and Relm will join the party. Exit the town.


FINDING SHADOW (g)

169.g. Board the airship and fly north-east to the cave on the right continent.

170.g. Cave in the Veldt: Walk south at the switch to get the striker from the 
       chest. Pull the switch and continue through the cave. Defeat SrBehemoth 
       and the party will return to Thamasa.

171.g. Board the airship and fly to the Colosseum on the top-left continent.

172.g. Talk to the man in front of the door and select the top option. Select 
       the striker and battle Shadow. He will join the party.


FINDING STRAGO (h)

173.h. Board the airship and go inside. Change party members and add Relm to 
       the party. Return to the top deck and lift off.

174.h. Fly south-east to the middle of the right continent and land on the 
       grass area in front of the Fanatics' Tower.

175.h. Relm will talk to Strago, and he will join the party. Exit the tower.


FINDING TERRA (i)

176.i. Fly east from the tower and enter Mobliz.

177.i. Enter the bottom house and go down the steps. Walk through the door and 
       talk to Terra twice. Exit the house.

178.i. Phunbaba will defeat Terra. As the party, defeat Phunbaba to return to 
       the house. Exit Mobliz.

179.i. Return to Mobliz and enter the bottom-left house.

180.i. Go down the steps behind the bookshelf. Exit the house and defeat 
       Phunbaba. Terra will join the party. Exit the town.


FINDING UMARO (j)

181.j. Board the airship and go inside. Change party members and add Mog to the 
       party. Return to the top deck and lift off.

182.j. Fly north-west to Narshe.

183.j. Walk north and enter the mine at the top of town.

184.j. Narshe Mine: Walk through the mine to enter the snow maze.

185.j. Walk through the snow maze and cross the bridge. Continue north and 
       defeat Tritoch. Walk north and jump into the opening.

186.j. Umaro's Cave: Cross the bridges and pull the right switch. Look at the 
       skull and remove the magicite. Defeat Umaro. Yalk to him and he will 
       join the party. Exit the cave and exit Narshe.


187. Board the airship and fly south to the middle of the bottom continent. 
     Land the airship on top of Kefka's tower.


KEFKA'S TOWER

188. Form three groups.

189. Group 1: Follow the path around and go through the door. Continue through 
     the next areas to the room with the steps on either side.

190. Group 2: Enter the left pipe in the fifth area. Walk through the left door 
     and stand on the switch. Exit the room. Go through the top door. Continue 
     through the tower and stand on the switch.

191. Group 3: Go through the bottom door in the first area. Defeat Inferno in 
     the fifth area. Open the chest in the seventh area to unblock the steps. 
     Walk through the tower to the same area as group 2. Stand on the switch.

192. Group 1: Go south and follow the path to the same room as the two groups. 
     Continue north and stand on either the left or right switch. Walk south 
     and push the weight off the ledge. Walk north and stand on the switch.

193. Group 2: Go north through the door. Stand on the other switch. Walk south 
     and push the weight off the ledge. Walk north and stand on the switch.

194. Group 3: Go north through the door. Stand on the middle switch. Walk south 
     to the ledge and stand on the switch.

195. Group 1: Walk south and go through the left door. Continue north through 
     the next two rooms and defeat Doom. Walk north and stand on the switch.

196. Group 2: Walk south and go through the right door. Continue north through 
     the next two rooms and defeat Goddess. Walk north and stand on the switch.

197. Group 3: Walk north through the next two rooms and defeat Guardian. Follow 
     the path and defeat Poltrgeist. Walk north to drop down to the room with 
     the other two groups. Stand on the middle switch.

198. A list is shown. Select the order of the characters that will appear in 
     the four rounds of the battle against Kefka.

199. Defeat the first three enemies. Characters that are wounded in battle will 
     be replaced by characters that were shown on the list.

200. Defeat Kefka to complete the game.
